Accessing an internal website from inside and outside. DNS confusion.
I have set up a wiki server on a mac server and I had it working all internally but then I needed to extend it to external use as well.
So I have a domain name spare and I changed the mac server to recognise that. Now it all works from outside but not from inside.
i know this is because when the use types in the domain name eg. Wiki.com from inside the school it goes off looking for the public IP and gets lost.
What do i have to set up inside the school so users can access the site? Do I have to add a record somewhere within my DNS?
