We recently purchased 30 Toshiba Satellite Pro A300 laptops, that our Art department use.
I never really gave much thought to be bluetooth being enabled on them, but have found major issues with logon times, and generally no network access etc, no icons appearing etc.
We checked everything we could think of, AP, updating wireless nic drivers etc, but it seems all along the bluetooth is the problem.
Having disabled it on the laptops the log times are quicker, just need to test on another day when there are more than just a few laptops being used.
Anyone else had similar problems??
On a side note, I have had two hard drive failures from these laptops, and they are only a month or so old.
Have You tried changing the order of network devices in Network connections - advanced - advanced settings if bluetooth is top of the list then it will wait until it times out on that conection before looking to the next device in the list wireless should be at the top followed by lan connection and the blue tooth or firewire lan conection.
