Evening PPL,
In our house we have two IPods. One is an 8Gb Touch and the other is an 8Gb phone. We would like them both to connect to our iTunes library which is held on a NAS box connected to the home network.
The central iTunes library is controlled by myself from my iMac. I keep control of the music and generally catalogue everything properly (geek alert). I just love all the tags and album covers being in correct place :-)
My wife accesses the iTunes library from her Windows XP laptop and has imported the the library from the NAS drive. All of the songs are listed there. However what we want is for this to update itself every time I add a new album or song to the central library (from the Mac).
It sort of works when we have a shared iTunes library, but she cannot drag songs from the library to her iPod. However is she imports the new directory she can (does this make sense?).
What I want is one library that everyone can upload to, where it updates itself and that everyone can drag onto their iPods.
Any ideas?
