Does anyone use the odyssey client from juniper for your wireless management on the client instead of windows zero config?
It just looks like it may be more stable to me with better troubleshooting options.

Also does anyone think that people who have experienced computer based domain log ins working for a while and then not could be down to the 7 day expiration of domain computer accounts?
Ben
This is interesting, can't say this is the cause of some of the laptops dropping off wireless but might be worth looking at.
We are using WPA with TKIP using IAS as the radius server with multiple vlans. I think the password on computer accounts expire every 30 days.

Hmm yes it is 30 days and you can disable this behaviour completely.
What I also liked about the odessey client is that you can test and see the machine authentication working while logged on and setting it up.

Hi,
Yeah its a much better supplicant than the windows's one but obviously it costs. We're looking at the xsupplicant (open1x.org) as the next version will have machine authentication as well as the ability to lock the profile so users cannot modify it but may add other profiles (for home) etc.
Ash.

There is also securew2 but I don't think it does machine auth.
