Er, the 2900XL series of switches are layer 2 only...so no EMI or SMI image. Same goes for the 3500XL....iif you mean Si or Ei what difference does it make as to how he wants to access and configure the switch. That's why cisco give people the choice.

21st September 2008, 02:12 PM #7 I though the 2900 series had two types of images, standard and a more advanced feature version.
My thinking was is the web interface an advanced feature. Anyway, HP Toptools, does that deal with Cisco equipment? I think there is other software that does a simpliar job.
Anyway, might be worth print a command list, see if you can spot anything, use help command, and google
, to help find out more information of any command u don't know what it does.
