    2610-48 web login

I've just set up the first one of these but if I set a console password for the operator and manager users then I can't login to the web admin for the switch.

    Neither combination works.

If I delete all the passwords I don't get asked for a username/password for the web admin.

    Very strange.

I have a HP 2650 and if I set the username in the web interface (security/device passwords/read-write access) it also sets it for the CLI

    hope that helps

How very stupid the exact same procedure works on these too.

It now also asks for the username before the password whereas if you set them from the console it works out which user operator or manager to log on as depending on the password you provide.

    Cheers.
