    What user should the RPC service run as?

    Hi,

    I have a few servers here, and the Remote Procedure Call (RPC) Service is running as NT Authority\NetworkService on some and LocalSystem on others, I need to work out what its supposed to be running as - google hasn't really helped much with this.

    Maybe you can help

    Network service on all my servers and on this XP desktop too

    Network Service for all here too (W2K3 & XPSP2)....

    Thanks I have a few running as LocalSystem, maybe thats why File Replication isnt working too well ......
