Introducing Extricom Enterprise WLAN From Computer Products Ltd
Computer Products are proud to introduce Extricom Wireless Solutions For Education.
Computer Products delivers and guarantees the award winning Extricom Interference-Free™ Wireless LAN System which incorporates multiple breakthrough innovations, fused into a product that delivers a generational leap in WLAN performance, flexibility, and ease of ownership.
Groundbreaking architectural thinking has yielded a solution that is
IEEE 802.11-compliant, yet changes all of the paradigms about the Wi-Fi
* Provides stable and guaranteed performance, enabling the
industry's first Service Level Agreement (SLA) for WLAN users.
* Easy to deploy and maintain, without the complexities of RF cell
* Delivers both seamless mobility and high capacity, with ubiquitous
coverage that is free of co-channel interference.
* Truly built for the enterprise triple play, without performance
* Wireless that behaves like wire.
In short, this is the ideal solution for building a large-scale WLAN
infrastructure for converged voice (VoWLAN), data, and video, with the
dependability and simplicity of a wired network.
All with the industry's lowest Total Cost of Ownership (TCO).
If this sounds like the perfect solution for your School or College be sure to contact us by pm or email to arrange a no obligation demonstration or for further infomation on how Extricom can benefit your network.

I have had some quotes for a couple of different solutions - one Extricom and one using the more traditional multi AP solution.

I have been looking for the trade off, but so far not found it. Simpler management (centralised), no interference between channels because everything is on the same channel, scalability (just ad more points).
Not had any contact with CP about this - my regular supplier is providing me with prices - so please do not confuse this with a sales pitch!!

I've also had a demonstration and quote for the extricom system, and I thought the quote was very reasonable for the size of our buildings. We had a simelar quote for a traditional wireless network based on high quality AP's which came out significantly more. Unfortunitelty we never went ahead with installation, as the money was re-allocated somewhere else in the end
