    ISA - URL Filtering

    Hi

I've having a problem with one of my ISA filters.

    Set up as follows:

    Action - Allow
    Protocols - All outbound
    From - Internal
    To - External

This all works ok (obviously just allowing all outbound traffic) but I now want to set up some exceptions to this rule to block certain web sites.

I've set up an exception with the relevant URL added but it wont apply. I've checked group membership is ok, and checked the URL is added correctly, but it still wont apply.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks

Have you made sure that the exception rule is above the allow rule as ISA applys the rules from top to bottom. As soon as it hits an allow ISA sees the job as finished so if your deny is afterwards it will not apply.
