    STOP IT

I have just built a new curriculum domain and installed STOPIT 3 as per notes. I have setup a monitored queue within STOPIT and configured it to use 1 credit per page etc… But when the user prints to that queue nothing is printed I look at the queue and it says “sent to print”. I have reset the Print Processor to STOPIT Winprint and RAW and to another one but it don’t work.

I have unmonitored the queue within STOPIT and tried printing and it prints fine when I select HPZPP4wm for the Print Processor.

    Hope you can help.

Have you set any restrictions on the print que? e.g document has to be saved, document has to be give a name?
Have you checked the reports to see why its not printing?

I have not put any restrictions on Printer port.

I have checked the event log on both server and workstation and no clues to why not printing.

have you checked the reports from within Stopit administrator? Reports menu>>log files>>>recent events. Any clues in there?

I'd drop them a line to their support desk - the chap down there (Giles) is fantastic and very helpful. Bent over backwards for me with a couple of issues.

This might be a dozy question, but does the user who's trying to print have a quota? - try unquotaed.
