    Patch Panel Sockets

Silly question: Where can I buy Cat5/5e sockets for a network patch panel? The current one's a panduit IIRC, but I can't find somewhere that stocks the sockets.

    In my opinion,

    Comms Express are extremely good:

erm comms-express don't apear to sell any panduit stuff.

My installers use panduit so if it's only a couple or something I can speak to one of the engineers.

Plexer: No model numbers, but they appear to be the non-punchdown ones.

Thanks for the offer, I only need 2-3 sockets but the teacher concerned has decreed that the machines destined for these sockets are badly needed (and for once he's right), so I might just plug them directly in to the switch for now and investigate which ones it takes.

Individual panduit pp jacks for cat5 and cat6 range are available from minitran, you can order them in individual quantities at 2-3 pound each........

Practically all panduit jacks for modular panels are of a tool-less variety. I must have atleast three different tools for terminating to the different panduit jacks
