    Recycling old wireless equipment

We've just had a refresh of our WLAN (from Trapeze to Aruba) and are now left with:

    • Around 100 MP-82 WAPs
    • An mx200 controller
    • A mx216r controller

Does anyone know if there are any companies who would have an interest in buying old kit, or is it only fit for the WEEE skip?

    Thanks

    Hi Paul,

Can you drop me an email with more details such as address, condition etc and I'll see what we can do for you

I can't promise anything but I can give it a good go!

Just out of interest what did you install from Aruba?

I'm looking at their 802.11ac stuff for our refresh but keeping our 3400 controller.

Out of interest did you manage to get anything for the old kit. We have an old 3com wireless network we are looking to recycle.

    Around 80 3com AP2750's, 5 3com 2426 pwr plus switches and a 3com WX4400 controller.

    Cheers

Unfortunately we didn't get a penny for them! In the end we gave them away to SCOMIS for use in primaries and the like.
