Slightly odd Ruckus/switch thing
So I have been putting up our new Ruckus 7363 APs and there is a slightly odd thing going on with one of the APs and the switch.
Basically, it works, but there are no flashy activity lights on either the AP or the switch. If I plug the AP directly into the switch, lights ahoy! Plug it into a network point, no lights. Doesn't matter which net point or port on switch neither show activity yet traffic is passing between AP and switch.
All other APs work as expected.
Obviously its not a major issue, more like... what the hell? And would kinda like to understand what's going on?

Strange, have you tried a point where existing APs are connected to?

Ahh yes, Mark @CPLTD nailed this one for me.
The network point is dead but the ap was connecting to another ap in mesh mode, that's why it's working but not via the wired point.
Bit embarrassing really :-)

Ah...that's one reason why I nerf mesh unless I intend on using it...

@sparkeh I shouldn't worry- I've heard far, far worse on support calls trust me! Glad we've got you sorted.
