    Ubiquiti unifi 3 packs

    Where do you get Ubiquiti unifi 3 packs form I am getting silly pricing? Also what kind of machine do you run the controller software on. I am looking at buying for a charity.

    4gon or wifigear are two "good" stockists

    As for controller, nearly anything will do.

    CP ltd sell them, had a set of them in the past, they supplied power leads, they don't come in the box i believe

    you got PoE adapters, buy you do need to get a figure of 8 power lead to for each one.

    I also got to get a machine to run the software on I was looking at asus e-pc is there a linux version of the controller software?

    Edit: But I read you can run it on lots of distros

    I got a pack for my local charity from www.wifi-stock.co.uk came as the 3 AP kit and was fine included all adapters and leads in the box and was well priced

    We've put in Unifi into three of our schools.

    School 1: 3 x Standard APs - Windows 2008 controller.
    School 2: 3 x Pro APs - Windows 2008 controller.
    School 3: 14 x Pro APs & 3 x Standard external APs - Ubuntu controller.

    We were advised to go down the ubuntu route for the larger deployment, for reliability. However, on the smaller windows deployments, we've never had an issue.
    Unifi is superb for the price. If you run radius, it can do nearly everything the bigger names can do too.
