    Printer Scripts

    Please see attached script.

    When the computername is e258 i have two printers that it connects to. But when the user logs on Microsoft word says, Microsoft Office is still awaiting to communiccate with the printers do you want to wait. I select yes and the strange thing is that the two printers are there but keep getting this annoying message.

    Do i need to add anothetr line to the code to enable two printer to connect withjout errors. Or is there another way

    Re: Printer Scripts

    dim intsleep
    intsleep = 10
    if you use

    wscript.sleep intsleep * 1000

    before you add the windows printer connection or even just after you create the printer objects etc near the start of the script so it gives it time before it trys to add the printers.

    You need the above 3 lines and you can try it at the begining of the script so it gives windows a little bit of time before it does the connections on the select case statement.

    If it does not make sense then I will take a look later on and ammend the script
