    CACLS

    I have trying to bulk change the NTFS permission on the home folders for the new starters. I am using the CACLS function

    CACLS username /T /P username:F administrator:F

    But everytime i type this or run a series of these with the appropriate username all the batch file does is continously scroll down with the first line.
    When i use the cmd prompt i go to the location where the home folders are stored.

    Am i missing something ?

    Re: CACLS

    This assumes you are at the same level as the folders at the command prompt and that the folder name is the same as the useraccount name.

    Code:
    for /D %%i in (*) do (
    cacls %%i /T /E /G yourdomain\domain admins:f
    cacls %%i /T /E /G yourdomain\%%i:f

    )
    I generally set the permissions for them to change and not full control.
