ProCurve 2910al vs 5406zl for InterVLAN/IP Routing
Looking at replacing our central switch Is it true the 2910al only does Port based ACL's.
We don't really need the expansion possibility of the 5406zl due to our building/cabling layout. We would like to seperate our network out to provide security seperated BYOD vLANS and eventually split the production network up to smaller segments too.
Would prefer just to have the switch doing the work i.e. Routing between vLANS, pointing clients to our Domain DHCP server and that dishing out all the IP's for the seperate vLANS etc.
Anyone using the 2910al for such tasks?
