Question Silent installs... (Joly Phonics version 3)

    Easy one for you guys.

I'm trying to install Jolly Phonics. Did it my usual way but of course it failed because it wants the serial number. So i apparently need this script

    msiexec /i \\CURRICSVR1\PACKAGES\JOLLY PHONICS VERSION 3\install.msi /qn PIDKEY= xxxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx APPDIR= C:/program files
    .

I've never had much luck with these things, so, first questions...is that script correct?

Second question where do i put it? Do i add it into GP Start up Scripts or does it go somewhere else?

for the LIC file could you not copy this to the "all users\app data" / default user\app data.
so when the app looks for the LIC it is already there?

I just put the script into a batch file and put the batch on a share and told the staff to double click it. Lazy yes!! Do I care - no

I found that editing the intall.msi with ORCA and adding a row for PIDKEY in the Properties table pre-populated the key into the required fields and allowed the install to proceed silently without any problem.

I used a Group Policy to populate the users AppData folder with the licenceData.jlp file needed for the program to operate without installing as each user. This puts the file in c:\users\%username%\AppData\Roaming\Jolly Learning\licenseData.jlp

I installed it onto a share on one of my servers and copied the shortcuts to whoever need it.
