    CAT6 = 55m
    CAT6a = 100m
    CAT6e = 100m also

    It starts getting confusing, but ideally I'd still install OM3 fibre. Installing CAT6 can be tricky as it's somewhat thicker than CAT5e. Not brilliant for going round corners!

    Surely no trickier around corners than fibre??

    I wouldn't be installing it myself, so it comes down to, in part, what is cheaper per metre.

    Fibre's super thin, even compared to the likes of CAT5e.

    If you were going outside with it, fibre would be a must as it has no electromagnetic properties - whereas copper does.

    As said earlier, ask a professional what they think (seeing as they're installing it)!
