HP 5406zl UDP broadcast forwarding limits and AB Tutor

We run AB Tutor at our school, and one thing we have to do to get it to work is use UDP broadcast forwarding on our core switch, so that a tutor machine can view clients on a different VLAN.

Up until recently this hasn't been an issue - however, since AB Tutor started requiring both 5151 and 5152 to be forwarded, this introduces an issue for us.

The 5406zl can handle a total of 256 UDP broadcast forwarding rules, 16 per VLAN max. We have more than 8 VLANs. So, we can now not enable all teacher machines to view all client machines.

Are my only options to either list all our IP ranges directly in each AB Tutor teacher machine, or to introduce a dedicated router which can handle more inter-vlan routing stuff?

Or you can create machine groups in abtutor instead of scanning. That's all I did, I never forwarded traffic between vlans for it.

It doesn't scale very well though, for admin machines. Oh well, we make do.
