Port aggregation between H3C and 3Com Switches?

Is it possible to aggregate ports between a H3C S5500-EI SFP switch and a 3Com 5500G-EI SFP switch?
I have tried linking two aggregate static ports on each switch but with no success.

    Configuration

    Thank you CyberNerd .
I have changed the H3C aggregation to dynamic on ports 1&2 and the 3Com to static on ports 5&6, will try connecting fibre later today when the students and staff have left.
I have attached two configuration files.

I think you need to set them up the same on both sides - mine are as below.
You should change the default snmp write password as well

    ink-aggregation group 1 mode static
    link-aggregation group 1 description switch

    #
    interface GigabitEthernet1/0/1
    broadcast-suppression pps 3000
    undo jumboframe enable
    lacp enable
    port link-aggregation group 1
    apply qos-profile default

    interface GigabitEthernet3/0/10
    broadcast-suppression pps 3000
    undo jumboframe enable
    lacp enable
    port link-aggregation group 1
    apply qos-profile default
    #

The H3C S5500-24F-EI will only allow dynamic with LACP enabled and Static with LACP disabled, that is through CLI or GUI?

I have tried H3C dynamic and 3com Static with LACP enabled also H3C Static and 3Com Manual with LACP disabled, the 3Com is OK with both set-ups and aggregate ports connecting but the H3C is anything but OK. H3C system log below:
IFNET Error LINK_UPDOWN GigabitEthernet1/0/12 link status is UP.
IFNET Error LINK_UPDOWN GigabitEthernet1/0/2 link status is DOWN.
IFNET Error LINK_UPDOWN Bridge-Aggregation1 link status is DOWN.
LAGG Notification LAGG_INACTIVE_CONFIGURATION Member port GigabitEthernet1/0/2 of aggregation group BAGG1 becomes INACTIVE because the port's configuration is improper for aggregation.
IFNET Error LINK_UPDOWN GigabitEthernet1/0/1 link status is DOWN.
LAGG Notification LAGG_INACTIVE_CONFIGURATION Member port GigabitEthernet1/0/1 of aggregation group BAGG1 becomes INACTIVE because the port's configuration is improper for aggregation.
LAGG Notification LAGG_ACTIVE Member port GigabitEthernet1/0/1 of aggregation group BAGG1 becomes ACTIVE.
IFNET Error LINK_UPDOWN GigabitEthernet1/0/1 link status is UP.
IFNET Error LINK_UPDOWN GigabitEthernet1/0/12 link status is DOWN.
IFNET Error LINK_UPDOWN Bridge-Aggregation1 link status is UP.
LAGG Notification LAGG_ACTIVE Member port GigabitEthernet1/0/2 of aggregation group BAGG1 becomes ACTIVE.
IFNET Error LINK_UPDOWN GigabitEthernet1/0/2 link status is UP.
CFM Notification CFM_SAVECONFIG_SUCCESSFULLY Configuration is saved successfully.

I have checked the port settings on both switches i.e. duplex etc. are set the same, I will have another go tomorrow but I cannot re-set the H3C and start from scratch untill the college breaks up for Xmas.

    Thanks again for your help.

Success, H3C dynamic and 3com Static with LACP enabled, I changed aggregated ports from 1&2 on H3C to 3&4. Ports 1&2 had been set up with IRF?
