We seem to be having an intermittent problem with our Internet which is driving us crazy in that it prevents (or goes off) users from browsing web pages.
However, although I say the Internet goes off, it doesn't in a sense that we can ping external websites using the command prompt and get a reply. Initially I thought it may have been a DNS issue, however, it seems as if the DNS is being resolved as we can ping google.com for example and get a reply.
As mentioned, when we do reboot the router, the Internet comes back and users can continue browsing as normal.
We have scanned all PC's etc for virus's and nothing has been revealed.
I was just wondering if anyone else has come across this issue and could offer some advice.

Sounds like the router, have you looked at replacing that, could be NAT choking out.

Thanks for your reply.
We have just recently got a new router a couple of weeks ago. Do you think this could still be the issue? Any further suggestions appreciated.

Do you have the ability to moniter the logging from the router, kiwi syslog server and a bit of router config may catch any router output and give you some hints.
