We have two servers at our site (admin and student), our admin network has recently upgraded to Vista (not my decision! :x ) and they are connected to an HP Network Printer through a W2k3 R2 Print Server. When they try and print multiple copies (through print count), it complains of a missing EIO hard disk, but the student network prints through their own print server, and it works perfectly?
@binky: Sounds like somebody has been playing in the settings of the printer driver.
If you have a look, there is probably a setting that defines whether an EIO hard disk module is fitted to the printer. This is causing the printer to look for the module and, when it does not find it, the printer has a whinge.
