Im trying to create students.sherburnhigh.co.uk but not having much luck.
I have created the account on the Live@Edu site but i need to show i own the domain by creating a DNS record.
Can someone help me out please. Where do i put it?
I have tried to put it in my DNS for the network but im starting to think ill need to talk to my ISP as they look after my domain.
Get whoever administers sherburnhigh.co.uk to create the subdomain and DNS records for you. ie your ISP :)
Oh right, its that simple, i thought there was more to it than that
Why bother creating a sub domain?
To make it obvious that a student is emailing when the domain is student.domainname.sch.uk ?

It also means my exchange box is for staff and live@edu is for students
DNS records are through your registra (ISP in your case?) though in some cases you can change them locally if you're doing it through the nameservers route as opposed to manual records (A, txt, cname, @)
