Quick question before I go head first into a google lake....
Got WSUS 3 setup and working well for our domain PCs / Laptops etc.
Got a workgroup PC I want to update on it.....
With the old SUS you just installed the relevant service pointing it to the server - is it the same with WSUS ? If so - where is the service exe you need to install and config...?
could this not be done by just setting the local group policy on the workgroup pc to point to the internal wsus server?

In GPMC go to Computer Configuration | Administrative Templates | Windows Components / Windows Updates
Alter settings to match your servers....etc
