Can you adjust windows XP power save modes past 5 hours?
Is anyone aware of a way to add longer times in the power save list? We would like the hard disk and monitor to turn off either after 12hours or better yet at 7pm every night. Right now the PC is standalone so I cannot use the shutdown scripts from the server.
What do other people do with digital signage PC’s? Do they leave them and the screen on all night, manually turn them off or use some program?

Can't you setup a sheduled task at daily 7pm to run "Shutdown -s -f -t 01" ?
Just slap it in a batch file on the local machine and set up the task from Control Panel
