.NET Framework 4 on 2nd partition/drive?

Hey,

I may be going crazy here, but is there really no way to install .NET 4 on a 2nd drive/partition?

Just updating our PE laptops, and they have less than the 1gb space required on C:\, and there seems no option in the installer to change the driver, or command line I can find. (Unless it's past the point it checks for space :()

Edit - nm, colleague just reminded me I'm being stupid and .NET needs to be on C:\ :(

.Net4 is installed mostly into the Windows folder, as it is mostly system components, so no, there's no way of changing partitions for its installation.

Your best bet is to reinstall other things that are on C:\ onto the second partition. Or merge the drives.

Use reparse points to mount a folder on another drive as a folder on the low space drive Junction Link Magic

If you are using Windows 7 then there is a utility to make them built right in.
