cisco ip communicator ?
Have RTFM'ed and the shortcut keys supposdly are either F2 or Ctrl + Shift + A
Works fine when you are logged in but due to security etc we have to lock our computers.
We are all in the same hunt group so it doesn't matter who answers the phone but want to know is there a way around being able to answer the phone with the screen locked even if I have to make a vb script and assign that to a key press that will allow me to answer the phone without having to log back on ??
If your Windows session is locked then all keypresses will be stoped by the lock screen, the only way I can think of doing something like this is with a seporate hardware button that is mapped to a command with a listener app that runs in the background of your user session.
Actually just another thought, I don't think that the lock keys are filtered out by the lock screen so you could theoriticlly do an app that listens for something like the scrol lock key while the station is locked and have that trigger the macro.
c# - How can I find the state of NumLock, CapsLock and ScrollLock in .net ? - Stack Overflow
I think that this keystate filters through but it could be persisted per user so may not work.
