Mic Boost Issue
I've got what I think is down to user action but I can't prove it and I have a niggling feeling that there could be a GPO or roaming profile somehow responsible so I'm opening this up for comments and/or tips.
Three laptops in one particular classroom (all same model & make as others in school) have all started a massive audio loop between the built in speakers and mic's..
Chances are this is down to someone setting up boom headsets with microphones to use the laptops but of course when the headsets aren't plugged in, the built in stuff takes over and it's screech hell.
So, does anyone know the best way to disable the mic boost or set the volume, by default using a startup script or something similar?
Thanks in advance...
Ahah... didn't spot this until I realised that I'd missed a couple of potential keywords to search on:
Thanks as ever :) ... small issue of the county net blocking downloads (typical) but I'll grab those at home and play...
