Batch File Name Changer (solved)
Hi All
A few members of staff have been saving files and appending the date to the end, using dots to separate it (e.g. filename 17.12.10). This is then obviously confusing the system (windows xp) as to what type of file it is.
I've been asked to sort it out. I've mentioned to staff not to save using filenames so we shouldn't run into this issue again.
Now, my main question. Is there any software that will allow me to do a batch file name change on selected folders changing all '.' to '-' and appending the extension '.flp'?
All the files that need to be changed are active primary .flp files and are located in their own separate folder so no other file types will be affected.
Thanks,
Dan
