Strange Exchange Problem - Messages being deleted automatically.
Hoping you'll be able to help me out with this one.
Exchange 2007 on Windows Server 2008.
This error is unique to one individual user.
We have a print solution here with several large photocopier \ scanning devices. Users are able to scan from the devices and the image is sent to the user via e-mail. This works for everyone but one user...
The print solution software logs state that the image is scanned and sent via e-mail to the
user. The exchange logs show the e-mail being sent to the user and it being delivered sucesfully.
The problem is... it never shows up in Outlook. Now the strange thing is if you scan the item and check the users inbox using OWA then the e-mail is sitting there all pretty in her inbox and ready to be viewed but the second you log into Outlook Proper the message disappears.
I've tried using a different PC she hasn't used before and logged in as her for the first time but the issue still stands.
This is the only person this happens to. This is the only e-mail message for this user that behaves in this way.
Strangely she did get the e-mail through once. And it happened that this one time the file was extremely small. < 100k. So I don't know if that's indicitive of the problem or if it was a once off fluke.
Definately seems to be an outlook \ exchange issue but I'm stumped...
