The problem you are most likely to run into with 64-bit is if you have an older (or not-so-old but very cheap) printer that does not have drivers for 64-bit. Likewise for scanners or other peripherals that need a driver (things like digital cameras normally don't).
Basically, check with your manufacturer that 64-bit drivers exist to avoid disappointment. Personally, I would still go for 64-bit and just make it time for a new printer, but forewarned is forearmed.
