OK, here's this week's mystery.
Our sixth form herbert has been out on his travels, checking suites. I just got an email inviting me to VNC into a specific machine. When I did, this is what I saw.
Both would become active, and move round the screen in response to mouse input. But neither would respond to Ctrl-Alt-Del.
What do you make of it?
Someone's set the wallpaper as a screenshot of the logon screen?

Sorry I don't get it, is it just the normal Win 2K logon screen or am I missing something? (apprt from the ctlrdelalt command doenst work).

The unlock screen only comes up if you're loggedon and have locked your machine; and the logon screen only comes up if you're not logged on at all ;) The two screens shouldn't ever be on the same screen at the same time.
