Backup Strategy Suggestions
Out kitchen equipment is no longer supported by the company who installed it (they went bust) so we have been fixing any problems that have been occuring but if anything major was to happen we'd be in the sh#t.
They are on a private network consisting of 3 touchscreen tills and a server. We have taken an image of a till which is fine as no data is ever stored on them. The server however has a lot of software that we dont have the CD's for and a all the schools data for the amount of money on each students swipe card they use to buy lunch. We have an image of the server but we could do with a daily backup strategy ideally.
As its not really a part of the school we would want to do for as little money as possible and as easily as possible, automatically each night. There is id say roughly 10gig of data which needs backing up and just wondered if someone could suggest anything?
