We have just ordered a batch of these, are you running it with Vista or XP?
We probably will downgrade to XP.
Using them with XP,
They don't come with any discs cos vista is on there and has a recovery section which you can't access properly so beware
Thanks for the heads up.
Ste.
We have just taken delivery of these laptops, and are in the process installing XP, it came with a downgrade disc and also a XP driver CD.
The driver we used was called IDT and worked fine.
I'm sitting here doing this myself right now! The HP site has two drivers. You need both. You install the Microsoft UAA HD driver first and then IDT driver will install no problems.
If you just try the IDT driver without first installing the M$ one it will error with no compatible hardware found.
