Another good alternative is Reso. The shortcut it creates changes the resolution, runs the specified program and then when it's closed, changes the resolution back.
7-Zip to open it.
All these are cool, and thanks, but were can i find the .exe file to begin with?I've tried in Program files/Applications,but nothing's there. Are they html5 apps? Are there someplace else?
look,i've installed win 8 and the tile apps working in 1024x768 res. and above(i have netbook). That's all the fuss about. But these apps must be html5,so probaply Reso can't do something about it.Anyway,i've tried to change resolution via regedit and my card won't allow it,so...thanks for your time
its a 7zip file, its a file that got compressed, just like .rar files and .exe files
Hi guys, I've been trying to change the resolution on my Acer Aspire One 250D netbook to increase it, Im using Windows 7.
I've tried the regedit fix but there was no change after I reset the machine.
I've tried ChangeRes and also the Reso and none of them work. I've updated and made sure that my video drivers are up to date and used slimdrivers to confirm that. Any other stuggestions on how to change the resolution?
The programmer of ‘NRC.exe’ “Netbook Resolution Customizer”
is not going to continue the project, as informed by email.
So the only hope, is if a another programmer can extract and update the source code of “Netbook Resolution Customizer” so it can work under Win7. Publicity is certain for the programmer who can continue the project.
“Netbook Resolution Customizer” is valuable because it is a light portable application that creates virtual resolution to the netbook, or laptop based on Intel graphics up to 1600 x 1200! Creates an expanded desktop for this, that you can navigate with the mouse. Important is that running applications like Photoshop or Lightroom , or Video applications, recognize the new resolution and work smoothly on an expanded desktop.
But “Netbook Resolution Customizer” works only in Win XP.
Note: Alternatives like freeware ‘Infinite_Screen’
[get it here from the programmer : Infinite_Screen Download Site ]
do not work, because they only only create an extended desktop, but not a virtual resolution which is the most important for the photo or video applications to work.)
