MS charging for Office Beta Downloads..

According to CNN it'll $1.50 per download from next week for Office 2007 System Beta 2.

Did someone at MS forget to pay the bandwidth bills? But seriously, this seems a stupid idea. Surely the point of a beta is testing. If you make harder to get the beta then there will be less people testing it..

Just when I thought M$ were beginning to get their PR sorted out.
