USB keyboard problem after logging into Windows
I had this problem reported to me today and I'm having a bit of a problem getting it resolved.
The PC in question boots up OK and you can then log into Windows XP Pro by typing the username and password but after login the keyboard stops responding.
The Num Lock light stays on and the computer makes a beep every time a key is pressed.
I've tried another USB keyboard but get the same problem. I would try a PS/2 one but the Dell PC doesn't have the connections.:mad: I've also deleted and reinstalled the driver.
Any ideas what this could be? Virus maybe? The PC has Sophos installed on it.
