Batch copy files and folders up one level
I'm migrating user data from one server to another and while I'm at it I'd like to sort a little headache while I'm doing it...
Since I've been at my current school (3 yrs) all user folders have been called 'username' but then have a 'cached' and 'uncached' folder below. All the users actual files are in the 'cached' folder and the 'uncached' is empty (I think it may be a legacy from our ClassLink XP days)
Is there a quick way that I can batch copy all files and folders from the 'cached' folder up one level to the 'username' folder, for all of my users (200+) , so that my share paths are \\server\students\username instead of \\server\students\username\cached ?
