Adobe Reader 9.0 Error Message. Need Help Please.
In our school we use Adobe Reader 9.0. When some members of the stuff attempt to view a pdf document in adobe reader 9 within a web browser, it crashes itself and then the following error message appear:
"Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library
Program: C:\Program Files\Adobe\Reader 9.0\Reader\AcroRd32.exe
This application has requested the runtime to terminate in an unusual
Please contact the applications support team for more information."
I have uninstalled adobe reader and reinstalled 3 times (the computer has been restarted and then re-installed from a full installation package and the problem persists). This error occurs in both Firefox and IE. Specifically, do I need to update the runtime library or is there another way to fix this?
It's funny I can use Reader 9.0 if I'm logged into my Administrator account (I don't get the Visual C++ error), but when couple of staff login using their own user account they will get the error message displayed above. Has anyone else noticed this?
Does anyone have any ideas how to fix this?
Thanks in advance for any help.
