I've had a request from a teacher who deals with, for want of a better phrase, "the slower learners". What she would like is that when these pupils log on to the network, the machines they are sitting at display larger text, the mouse cursor and the double click is slower. Generally speaking, she wants the machines enabled so that any pupil with learning difficulties finds it easier to use the machine they're sitting at. W2K3 server XP Pro machines SP2.
yes as all those settings controlled by reg edits so use regmon to found out the locations

and import with what ever methord you use?

Have a look at the Accesability Wizard in Star > Programs > Accessories > Accessibilty
A smaller screen resoloution might help the text size thing, It is possible to set the mouse click speed, not sure how to set it for particular users though :/
There's a program called Supanova (think that's the spelling, might be Supernova) that's very good for Special Educational Needs pupils.
Bit expensive, but you shouldn't have to use the IT budget as it's not for you it's for the SEN department.
Assuming all the changes are at the User Profile level (ie changing the settings only affects the logged on user), then you could use a Mandatory Profile (see WiKi). If the user needs to be able to configure the settings themselves, then a Roaming Profile (again, see WiKi) or possibly a Flex Profile would do the job.
I had this problem with a visually impaired child at a primary school.
I solved it by configuring as a user with a roaming profile the accessability wizard. Any changes made were saved onto the profile and not permenently on the computer. Fair enough the profile takes a few extra seconds to load but the smile on that poor childs face when she could see the cursor made it all worthwhile.
