Script for Mass Password change
Been doing some digging around on this forum and on the web, and I'm starting to get a tad frustrated.
We've just had 90 or so new user accounts added to the AD, all with a default password set.
What I want to do, is kill two birds with one thermonuclear missile...
I want to write a script that will take words from a dictionary file (a simple .txt with a word per line for example), and go through each of these user accounts changing the password for each to a different word, if that makes sense.
What I then want to do, is export the username and the new password to a CSV, so I can then load that into a Label-making peice of software that we have and print sticky labels for all the pupils with their passwords on.
I'd imagine that doing this as a .bat file would be pretty difficult, however I'm quite versed in VBScript if anyone can point me in the right direction.... although if it can be done with a .bat file, that's fine to me!
Any help would be appreciated!
