website down by RM
just upgraded to "advanced web hosting" by RM....
our website is now "down"...
They have sent me new ftp details which I cannot get to work.
They have sent me PLESK log-in details which DO work but through which there does not seem to be a way to re-upload our site.
My OLD ftp details still work - proving connectivity between me and them and that my ftp client is still working OK.
They claim the ftp details work for them.
Where do I go from here>>????
Have they changed the dns in which case may take 24 hours to go through the dns severs around the world.
Trying from different locations work/home etc to try and see if problem at the school level (firewall from rbc etc)
weirdly they can ftp ONLY to our NEW site
we can ftp ONLY to our OLD site...
I think you are right I think it's a DNS update issue...
wonder if patience is the only solution>?>>
If you've got the IP you could add an entry into your own HOST file for now and see if it works.
