Hi all, I know this is quite a big question but i need to set up reporting in bcakup exec 10d and 11d.
In the past we have just mapped to a ntbackup reports folder and let the staff check in there. Now we are using BE i need a way of outputting a simple as poss reports saying backup successful or failed.
why not get it to email you everyday the reports and errors / media requests?

i went over and plugged in the correct USB Drive and off it went.
I would love to do that but the way our authority is set up means no exchange servers and all email based on a third party web based system!:(
Our authority also hosts a web based email service but that doesn't stop WSUS emailing reports to us as they still provide an SMTP relay service. Are you sure you're LA don't provide that service?
