Not exactly an urgent one but something I've just noticed.
I've just sent an email to someone and the time on my system clock had just clicked over to 15:25. However, I go to my Sent Items and the time stamp is 15:26. It wasn't a massive email and it disappeared from the Outbox while my system clock was still on 15:25. I don't think it will change my life significantly if this carries on but I thought someone might know why and how this happens.
It will have grabbed the time of sending off the server, it may have taken a short while to be processed or your servers clock may be a little bit faster than you computers.
That’s what i thought, but doesn't outlook go of the local computer time? Maybe it is round the seconds to the nearest minute.Quote:

As far as I know it goes off the exchange server time
Well if it is on a domain won't all the clocks be in sync?
Within a certain margin yes, it can be up to a few minutes out and still work. The time sync mechanisum is not perfect, besides as I said it may have taken a short time for exchange to have accepted the message for delivery.Quote:
