I have remove a package from all computers using AD that we are no longer licensed and it went fine apart from 5 computers (bizarrely apart from one that are all next to each other in one suite) that won't complete the removal. Any help would be appreciated, the languages department have the most whining teachers in school!
Could be a few things, check the firewall off/on/correct rights etc, you may not be picking up the policies.
Check the event logs on the machines.
Check to see if the machines are in the same OU with the policy applied.
Let us know what you find.
That is a bit strange. Have you tried running a gpupdate /force on these 5 workstations? Have you tried uninstalling manually? And if it still fails, I'd recommend you check the event logs as to why.

Use GPMC to check that there isn't another policy keeping the app installed. You can also check the event logs with GPMC to see why the uninstall failed... it could of course be an indication of a bigger problem.
