Hi everyone.
When I perform a full workstation rebuild of an RM workstation, the rebuild will only go as far as the Windows XP logon screen and doesn't appear back in the RM Management Console. Therefore, putting all the apps back onto the machine is proving a nightmare. The workstation has joined the domain successfully and I can browse to network shares, so theres nothing wrong with the NIC as far as I can see.
Any ideas? Ta very muchly :p

If you have access to RM support website, look up the article TEC477853 or TEC274335 if you have HFXCC3067 installed.
We found this was due to a dodgy network driver in HSP27 which has been fixed in HSP28. It could also be caused by DNS problems. Do you delete the workstations from PackageControl and from the management console before you rebuild them?

turns out it was the fact that I wasn't deleting the workstations from the management console before re-building them. Didn't realise this would cause a problem! Our school doesnt have a support contract with RM so problems like these are hard to troubleshoot.

Have to admit I never delete workstations from the Managment Console or the PackageControl folder before I do a rebuild. Never had any problems. Suspect there could be something else at play here.
If you run a command prompt on a CC3 server and run "HealthCheck.exe" located in the folder "D:\RMNetwork\RMManage\Station Manager" does it give any errors?

if it does that i log on as setup and see if it kicks it off again. Failing that I browse to
C:/Program files/research machines/Network management/appagent and run the installrm.exe. It should pull stuff then.
