"Error 403" & "Moved to here" message
I have an interesting problem on a teacher's desktop pc - running Win XP Pro SP2 & IE 7. It has .net 3 framework installed along with 1 & 2 and all the updates.
With any user logged on, including the Admin locally, everything works okay except for accessing attachments in Hotmail/Live and Yahoo email. Clicking on an attachment of any kind will result in either the classic 'Error 403' page or a 'Moved to here' page and no download of the attachment. Downloading files from other sites is also affected, but it seems only those using http not ftp.
I have done everything I can think of such as purging the machine, resetting IE to defaults, updating, checking for nasties, etc and a trawl through Google results doesn't give me anything that solves the problem.
I installed Mozilla Firefox and it behaves strangely: it displays the html of any webpages visited, not the actual page.
Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks.
