Program to access laptop Outlook email at work/remote locati
I have a lot of email stored on my Outlook 2007 at home, and frequently find it would be useful to be able to access it from work (Possibly in a webmail style interface).
Is there any software to allow me to do this? In theory it should be simple, as all the software would need to do is access the Outlook.pst file and display the results!
If anyone says 'just bring your laptop to work' or 'use remote desktop connection' I will murder them

The most obvious suggestion is to use an email account which has webmail as well. Make sure you set Outlook to leave a copy of all incoming mail on the server. You can then access your incoming emails over the net and respond accordingly. I leave mine on the server 30 days before it is deleted automatically.
You can't of course see stuff you've sent in Outlook unless you cc it to yourself.

If you're determined not to use remote desktop, setup a Gmail account, use the newly added IMAP facilities to copy all your mail over, setup a forwarding rule to send new mail onto the Gmail account when received...
May I ask why RDC is a murderable offence? It's the easiest option in this case and if combined with VPN/SSH would also be the most secure... Not to mention that if you're going to remotely access a PST file on your home PC, you're going to need VPN/SSH anyway...
If you have £££, this sounds like what you were describing http://www.publicshareware.com/publi...scription.html

How about moving your .pst file to a memory stick, that way you have the lot with you all the time?

I like that one! Good idea

I've done it with my account at work. For a long time it was the only email I had (too poor for a phone line/never at home to need one) so I have quite a lot of personal stuff coming to me at the work address. I've moved all that stuff off the server and onto the stick. You then need to "Open" an Outlook data file, and browse to the location on the stick. Providing you have the stick inserted prior to running Outlook, no further action is needed.
