Is there a way I can stop all my desktops from syncronising offline files everytime users log off from their PC's, some users have files in their home area that can't sync and it holds up log off.

Try this
Double click on Local Disk
TOOLS
FOLDER OPTIONS
LAST ONE ON THE MENU OFFLINE FILES
Let me know the outcome
We block synchronisation via gpo on Computers on site, but allow synchromisation from staff laptops so that home folders are available offline etc.
Check following areas in in Computer and User GPO
Administrative Templates\Network\Offline files
@mrtechsystems I tried this before, but it hasn't seemed to work, and i've got 200 + PC's to do this to.
@monkeyX I'll give that a try
Another method is on the share itself - theres an option on the sharing tab called Caching which allows you to specify how that share handles offline files
Options are:
- Only the files and programs that users specify will be available offline
- All files and programs that users open from the share will be automatically avaliable offline
- Files or programs from the share will not be available offline
GPO has sorted it, thanks guys
